Leo has been working for 888.com, combining her poker playing career with the development of 888.com’s brand in Spain.
Originally from Barcelona, this felt Femme Fatale is a keen climber, likening the risk/thrill factor to that of creating mountanious piles of chips! She also cites running amongst her many hobbies.
Having graduated from Roehampton University, Leo has an eclectic and diverse musical taste, with a particular fondness for Gianna Nannini, the Italian songstress and rock musician who is the sister of formula one racer Alessandro Nannini.
Her favourite book is the poignant and thought provoking Veronika Decides To Die, a complex, intelligent work written by new age sage Paulo Coelho which explores the forces which drive us to living our lives and experiencing the world around us.
Knowing her taste in literature it is little surprise that he favourite film is A Clockwork Orange, the Stably Kubrick award-winning classic, banned in the UK for numerous years that details the dystopian life of a young, violent offender, Alex and the state’s attempt to cure him.
A penchant for madness then, Leo or just a deep fascination with mind control and the manipulation of events to fashion a world? Pray tell!
However, it was whilst at University that Leo developed her true love: poker, taking down the University championship for over €5000 and the respect of all her peers.
It wasn’t all drunken debauchery and gambling at University however… the poker professional with the killer looks showed she has the brains to match her beauty by graduating with a degree in Business Studies from Roehampton before going on to Barcelona University and walking away with a Masters in Managing Communication Companies and Multimedia Groups.
Adventurer, scholar and adrenalin-junkie, Leo isn’t afraid to take risks to get to the top… beware the lioness across the felt, before she gets her claws into you and takes a huge bite out of your stack too!
