Graeme had to work so David took us out for lunch. In Spain we have Maccy D’s and BK but not a KFC and as David knew this he decided to treat us to some of the colonals famous spicy delights.
We entered the near deserted franchise and was met at the counter by a trainee neanderthal to take our order. This guy had the IQ of a octopus and the personality of a bullfrog, actually that’s a bit insulting to said animal species.
I so wanted Rachel to win, she has been brilliant all the way through and so tender on the eye to boot. But Tom’s showdance was absolutely fantastic and it gave him the edge to take the title that he definately deserved.

We had a quiet day, if that’s possible with David around, and in the afternoon, we went to see the reindeer that were appearing in a local garden centre.
There have been some great prizes this year and a very big thanks go to Incubus for organising such a tremendous event, it looks like you have all enjoyed it.

Day 3 brought excitement to the house as we had tickets for The Wizzard of Oz. But firstly we were going to a Christmas fayre which should help me with some of my Mrs Aegis present issues.
So after messing about on the PC trying to get my photos off the camera and onto the blog, we were on our way. Then in true nature the heavens opened again and so started the discussions of plan B/C/D…….
Ok, I have now had time to get all the programs running and passwords sorted on this PC and I am ready to share some photos with you.

There it goes………. The Tower was also closed so no cheap thrills for me today
Cloudy today (nothing new there then) and we are off to Blackpool. The riviera of the north.
I’m being moaned at coz I’m working when I should be on holiday, they don’t realise I need the break that a PC offers from the constant meaningless chatter that is rife over here. Home and Away isn’t a patch on this place.
So we arrive in Blackpool and it’s shut.
The Tower is shut, Harry Ramsdons is shut, the beach is shut not a tram in site even after several circuits of the promanade. Barring a few drunks in the penny arcades the place looked like the aftermath of a nuclear attack. Dark, raining so we headed home and got lost.
I’m enjoying myself so much that I am having trouble catching up and we are off out again soon but I will do the best I can to get you up to date.
We went to the Trafford Centre which I was told is the largest shopping centre in Europe ‘yawn’ and wandered around. Now although I have not bought a single present for Mrs Aegis yet, apparently we weren’t there to shop but to eat???
This is a day by day account of my first trip ‘home’ (Spain is my home now) in years.

I am a little behind as this is my second day here and we have just this minute got in and are out again in two minutes.
